“I started my career in IP in 2013 as an in-house patent attorney in a medical device company based on the EPFL campus in Lausanne. The IP portfolio of the company comprised both mechanical and chemical cases to protect the various aspects of the medical devices. In this regard, I have acquired extensive knowledge in microfluidics, microparticles/wafer preparation and functionalization, biomolecules extraction/sample preparation/detection.
In 2015, I joined an IP law firm in Neuchatel where I provided assistance in IP-related matters to individual clients, startups and SMEs. I was in charge of mechanical cases related to watchmaking (movement and external parts), mechanical componens/assembly (mechanical/electromechanical actuators, pumps, bearing, robots), medical devices cases (cardiac valve, optical lens), materials (composite materials, especially natural fibers) and software- and AI-based inventions (medtech/ digital health, robotics).
I am a qualified European patent attorney before the European Patent Office – EPO.
