“Having worked for 12 years within the top-tier Ukrainian law firms and as in-house legal advisor of a major internationally active distributor of IT products and solutions headquartered in Cyprus, I acquired in-depth experience in international intellectual property, contract and dispute resolution law with a specific expertise on the IP landscape in the Eurasian region.

I am a Ukrainian attorney-at-law and qualified trademark attorney with a particular focus on trademark law, including trademark protection and enforcement strategic advice, prosecution, IP rights clearance, mitigating contractual risks in cross-border IP transactions, brand enforcement and litigation, customs protection, domain name disputes, IP due diligence.

I have acted for world-known companies in a number of complicated IP matters (including in high-profile court cases) across the FMCG, Life Science and Healthcare, Agrochemicals, IT and TMT industries and always focus on the business and legal interests of my clients.

At Katzarov, I am an Associate Partner since 2023 –  heading the pool of historical expertise in Eastern European countries, the Eurasian region, the Balkans, Mongolia. We act as a hub for these regions, offering our clients a range of services from trademark registration to IP rights enforcement and litigation as well as guiding the clients through the nuances of local markets, laws and regulations to effectively and cost-efficiently manage their IP portfolio and IP legal risks in these jurisdictions.

Since 2023, I have also been managing the KATZAROV’s MANUAL department which edits the KATZAROV’s Manual on Industrial Property, a worldwide reference for intellectual property in over 200 countries since 1924.”
