“I have been working in Switzerland since 1999, where I began my career in a telecommunications company. Time has passed quickly, and each step along the way has allowed me to develop my skills across a variety of environments.
I have progressed within international fiduciary firms as well as large corporations, including the opportunity to contribute for six years to the development of the Artemis Racing team as part of the America’s Cup. These experiences have enabled me to gradually expand my responsibilities, leading to my current role as Chief Accounting Officer.
In this role, I oversee all accounting activities as well as the preparation of financial reports, including monthly income statements, in order to provide management with a clear and reliable view of the company’s performance.
What I particularly value in my profession is the human dimension: supporting teams on a daily basis, providing them with the information they need for decision-making, structuring processes, and ensuring rigorous follow-up so that managers can focus on their core business. Accurate management of financial flows also contributes to giving management clear visibility on upcoming deadlines.
I joined Katzarov in 2021 to take responsibility for the accounting department.”
Core Expertise
Strong expertise in general and analytical accounting in Switzerland and in international environments. Excellent command of IFRS and Swiss GAAP standards. Proficient in accounting software (GIT WinEUR, Crésus, ViewPoint).
Full management of accounting cycles: accounts payable/receivable, multi-currency payments, billing control, bank reconciliations, account analysis, VAT and other tax filings, monthly consolidation, preparation of financial statements and reporting, implementation and optimization of procedures. Support to HR functions (excluding direct payroll management).
Additional Expertise
Management skills: training, planning, supervision and delegation. Constructive mindset with a strong ability to bring teams together. Excel training levels 1 and 2 (IFAGE Geneva).
